Intimate Guide Jan 06, 2010 While dressing up for the holidays, I tried the Cami Slimming Shaper no underwire Bra Bodysuit with Thong Bottom from n-fini. To break that all down for you - it is like a cami on top with spaghetti straps, no underwire in the cups, and the bottom has a thong fit that is cut high on the hips. There is also a design with a full panty bottom, and they both have a "with underwire" option.
On the Hanger The body suit looks soft and sexy on the hanger. The nude color and snap crotch offer nice functionality. But being a big girl with even bigger boobs, the absence of an underwire had me concerned about support for my girls from the get-go.
The Feel The fabric texture is nice - soft and comfortable. It's a Micro-fiber of 88% Nylon, 12% LYCRA. The weave offers nice shaping and minimizes some of my problem areas without feeling like I am wearing an iron corset.
The Fit The fit around my middle and bottom are great. It really does shape things up and hold things in. As suspected, however, the top poses some problems for my DDD breasts. They are contained...but there is virtually no support or lift, leaving the girls sad and droopy.
Overall This particular design is likely a great fit for women with smaller chests than mine. But my plus size bust would definitely require me to wear a bra underneath, somewhat defeating the purpose of single-piece shapewear. For me, the more logical choice would probably be to wear separate top and bottom shape wear pieces (ie. n-fini's high rise shorts and bralet ).
